ABOUT
Texas Education THRIVE is an initiative of the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin. THRIVE was co-designed by UT faculty in partnership with district stakeholders including early career teachers, mentors, administrators, and district leaders. Situated at the intersection of research, practice, and policy, THRIVE is proud to be a by-Texas-for-Texas program with responsive, context-specific solutions to current challenges facing Texas public schools. We are committed to improving outcomes for all Texas teachers and students through our work.

To increase teacher retention by supporting districts in developing self-sustaining cultures of educator growth and collaborative mentorship.

All educators feel supported in their growth, empowered by relationships, and inspired to lead.
THRIVE is a district-wide intervention model aimed at increasing teacher retention. By co-creating systemic cultural changes, improvements can be seen in climate, educator efficacy, and student outcomes.
